creep factor, high

I'm not superstitious but ever since Irma things have remained a little spooky around here. Now we have a black cat (black cats were always my faves) hanging around that's just a tad too bold and nosy. It sort of gives me the creeps. Again, it's not that he's black as much as just his odd behavior. But he also turns up around windows and doors when I'm already feeling spooked. Creep factor here is high.

There's probably nothing exceptionally diabolical about your recent visitor -- no more so than any cat can be diabolical. I've noted that stray cats (and perhaps even non-stray cats) do have a tendency to "adopt" humans -- or at least their residences. Perhaps you are acquiring a new member of the household.

Oh I know. That's why I made a point of saying I'm not superstitious. But since Hurricane Irma, we've had no shortage on freaky happenings around my building. I moved here since we were known for a very simple and unhampered way of life. I hope the strange winds eventually finish blowing past.

On another note, I was surprised to see a response as I had assumed there was no life on LJ anymore. Glad to see someone else is here.
